Gemma is a painter, illustrator and designer who takes inspiration from the coastline and countryside near where she lives with her family between Looe and Fowey.
After escaping corporate life, she began her freelance career doing logos and branding for local businesses and exploring digital art, in particular, railway style and travel poster art of local places.
Gemma’s work is not just about capturing a scene; it’s about evoking the emotions and stories that lie within it. Her artwork often features the rugged cliffs, crystal clear waters and lush countryside that define South East Cornwall, in a warm and nostalgic way.
